Patients with Family Physicians

If unable to see your family doctor in a timely manner, you are welcome to seek care at Northwood Medical Clinics. Your results will be sent to your family doctor for ongoing care.

Patients without Family Physicians

We encourage patients to find a suitable family physician, and look at our clinics as playing a supportive role in your health care. For help finding a family physician visit Health Care Connect – a government initiative to help Ontarians find a family health care provider.

Northwood Medical Clinics is a teaching facility.

At Northwood, we provide care through teamwork. The Physician on duty today, will coordinate your care, however; our team also consists of Medical & Nursing Students, Medical Residents & Physician Assistants.

Frequently Asked Questions

We do not refill prescriptions for narcotics.

We prefer you go to the same location where you received care, however, if need be, we can always retrieve information from the other clinic.

We allow our patients to register, leave, and come back without losing their spot in line.

Our physicians can help you with referrals to specialists, community care programs, and supports.

You must provide a valid Ontario Health Card to be seen by the doctor. A non-refundable fee of $50.00 will be charged in the absence of one.
